  • Bus

    From Östersund central station, take bus number 7 towards Tandsbyn. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Tandsbyn' stop. From the bus stop, walk 10 minutes along Ångstavägen, heading northeast. The Locknekratern Meteoritcenter will be on your right at Ångstavägen 71.

  • Bicycle

    You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Östersund. Start from the central square and head east towards the bike path that leads to Tandsbyn. Follow the signs for Tandsbyn, which is about 9 kilometers from the center of Östersund. The route is mostly flat. Once you reach Tandsbyn, follow Ångstavägen, and the Meteoritcenter will be on your right at Ångstavägen 71.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, head east from the Östersund city center towards the river. Cross the bridge and continue following the path along the river until you reach Tandsbyn. This will take approximately 2 hours. Once in Tandsbyn, walk along Ångstavägen, and you will find the Locknekratern Meteoritcenter at Ångstavägen 71.
