From any location in Stockholm, make your way to the nearest metro station. If you are near T-Centralen station, take the Tunnelbana (metro) line 14 towards Fruängen or line 19 towards Hagsätra. Get off at the Gamla Stan station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to Stortorget, the main square in Gamla Stan.

Once you are at Stortorget, head towards the Royal Palace (Kungliga Slottet) which is visible from the square. Walk along the narrow streets leading from Stortorget towards Slottsbacken. The Museum Tre Kronor is located at Slottsbacken, right next to the Royal Palace. It is a short walk of about 5-10 minutes.

If you prefer to take a bus, head to the nearest bus stop and find a bus that goes to Slussen or Gamla Stan. From Slussen, you can take any bus that stops at Slottsbacken. After getting off the bus, it's a short walk to the Museum Tre Kronor.

You can also take tram line 7 from central Stockholm towards Nybroplan. Get off at the stop called 'Västerlånggatan.' From there, walk towards Gamla Stan and head to Slottsbacken, where the Museum Tre Kronor is located.
