If you are traveling by car, start from Västerås, which is approximately 40 kilometers away from Ängsö. Take the E18 highway towards Örebro. After about 20 kilometers, take exit 144 towards Viksjö and follow signs toward Ängsö. Continue on local roads for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the Ängsö Nature Preserve. There is a small parking area available near the entrance where you can leave your car.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Västerås to Hallstahammar. This train ride takes about 20 minutes. From Hallstahammar, you can catch a local bus heading towards Ängsö. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to Ängsö, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the entrance of the nature preserve.
