Getting There

Walking
Start at Stora Torget (the main square) in Visby. From the center of Stora Torget, head northeast towards the narrow street called Österlånggatan. Walk along Österlånggatan for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with S:t Hansgatan. Turn left onto S:t Hansgatan and continue walking for another 150 meters. You will see the S:ta Karin ruin on your right, located at Stora Torget 2. The ruins are easily recognizable with their ancient stone structure.

If you are starting from the Visby Cathedral, head southwest towards the main square (Stora Torget). As you approach Stora Torget, you will see the S:ta Karin ruin directly across the square from the cathedral after about a 5-minute walk. The ruins are just a short distance away and are well-marked.

From the Visby Museum, exit and head west towards the main street, Strandgatan. Turn left onto Strandgatan and walk for about 300 meters until you reach Stora Torget. At the square, S:ta Karin ruin will be located to your left at Stora Torget 2. This route should take around 10 minutes.
