Getting There

Car
From the center of Andermatt, head southeast on Gotthardstrasse toward the A2 highway. Turn left to merge onto A2 towards Lucerne. After approximately 8 km, take the exit for A3 toward Chur. Continue on A3 for about 20 km, then take the exit for Furkapass. Follow signs for the Furka Pass Road (Route 19) towards Obergoms. The scenic road will lead you directly to Furkapass. Be prepared for winding roads and stunning views. Note that there may be tolls on certain sections of the road.

Public Transportation
From Andermatt train station, take a train heading to Brig. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Brig, you can take a bus towards Obergoms. The bus journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Ensure to check the local timetable for bus schedules, as they may vary, especially during off-peak seasons. The bus will drop you off near the start of the Furkapass road. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach the pass itself. Keep in mind that bus fares will apply.
