If you're driving from Interlaken, take the A8 motorway towards Lucerne. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward Meiringen. Follow the signs to Meiringen and then to Schattenhalb. The Aareschlucht is located at Aareschluchtstrasse 16, 3860 Schattenhalb. There is parking available near the entrance, but it may incur a fee of around CHF 5-10 for the day.

From Interlaken, board a train at Interlaken Ost station heading towards Meiringen. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Meiringen station, you can take a local bus (Line 6) towards Schattenhalb. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. You will need to disembark at the stop 'Aareschlucht'.
