From Andermatt, head east on Gotthardstrasse (Route 19) for approximately 6 kilometers. You will see signs for the Oberalp Pass. As you approach the pass, follow the signs leading to Talsperre Oberalpsee. The road will take you up the mountain, and you will eventually reach a parking area near the dam. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around CHF 5-10 for the day.

From Andermatt, take the PostBus line 3 towards Oberalp Pass. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You will get off at the 'Oberalp' stop. From there, follow the signs to Talsperre Oberalpsee, which is a short 10-15 minute walk uphill. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited depending on the time of year.

If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can start by walking from Andermatt to Talsperre Oberalpsee. The hike is about 8 kilometers and will take you roughly 2-3 hours.
