Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Arosa, head towards the main road (Hauptstrasse) and look for signs directing you to the Arosa cable car station (Arosa Bergbahnen). From the center, it's about a 10-15 minute walk. Once you reach the cable car station, purchase a ticket for the 'Hörnli' or 'Tschuggen' cable car, which will take you up the mountain. After enjoying the scenic ride, disembark at the top and follow the signs to 'hintere Hütte'. The trails are well-marked, and it should take you around 20-30 minutes to walk to AlpArosa from the cable car station. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way!

    From Arosa train station, take the local bus that goes towards 'Arosa Bergbahnen'. The bus stop is right outside the train station. The bus ride will take approximately 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Tschuggen' stop. From there, follow the walking path towards the cable car station. Once at the cable car station, purchase your ticket for the Hörnli or Tschuggen cable car and follow the same route as above to reach AlpArosa.
