Walking
If you're starting from the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of the main entrance to the lake. Continue straight until you reach the end of the promenade, where you'll see the ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Como. Enjoy the beautiful views as you cross Lake Maggiore. Once you arrive at the Como ferry terminal, disembark and follow the signs to Piazza Roma, which is just a short walk away. Head south on Via S. Agostino, then turn left onto Via Roma, and you will arrive at the piazza.
Public Transport
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the main square. Take Bus Line 1 towards Locarno. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Locarno train station. From Locarno, take the train towards Como. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Como train station, exit the station and follow the signs for Piazza Roma, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head south on Via S. Agostino, then turn left onto Via Roma to reach the piazza.
