Walking
If you're starting from the Basel SBB train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 800 meters. You'll pass through several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the junction with Freie Strasse. Turn left onto Freie Strasse and walk straight for another 300 meters. You will come to a large square called Marktplatz. From there, head towards the City Hall, and once you reach the steps of the City Hall, look for the signs pointing to Klostergasse. Tinguely Fountain is located at Klostergasse 7, just a short walk from the City Hall, around 200 meters.

Tram
From the Basel SBB train station, take tram line 8 towards 'Riehen'. Get off at 'Theater' stop, which is just two stops away. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Theaterplatz and cross the street towards the City Hall. Continue walking straight, and you'll find Klostergasse on your right. Tinguely Fountain is located at Klostergasse 7, just a couple of minutes' walk from the Theaterplatz.
