Tram
If you're starting from Basel SBB (the main train station), take tram line 10 towards 'Riehen, Grenze'. Get off at the 'Marktplatz' stop, which is a central hub in Basel. From there, walk towards the Town Hall (Rathaus) and take the street called 'Lange Gasse'. Continue straight until you see the entrance to 'Im Lohnhof' on your left. This area is known for its beautiful architecture and historical significance.
Bus
From the 'Basel, Bahnhof SBB' bus station, you can take bus line 36 towards 'Tüllinger Höhe'. Get off at the 'Kunstmuseum' stop. From there, walk towards the Kunstmuseum and then head towards the 'Marktplatz'. After reaching the Marktplatz, follow the previous walking directions towards 'Lohnhof'.
Walking
If you are near the Rhine River, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to Lohnhof. Head towards the 'Mittlere Brücke' (Middle Bridge) and cross the river. Once you reach the other side, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the 'Kunstmuseum'. From there, follow the directions to the 'Marktplatz' and then 'Lohnhof' as previously described.
