Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Kleinbasel area, make your way towards the Rhine River. Walk along the riverbank heading southwest until you reach the Mittlere Brücke (Middle Bridge), which connects Kleinbasel and Grossbasel. Cross the bridge and you’ll find yourself in Grossbasel. Once across, continue straight on the Hauptstraße until you reach St. Alban-Tal. Turn left onto St. Alban-Tal, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Basel Paper Mill, located at St. Alban-Tal 37.

    If you prefer to take public transport, find the nearest tram stop in Kleinbasel, such as 'Kleinbasel' or 'Rheinbrücke'. Board tram number 10 (direction: Bahnhof SBB) or tram number 8 (direction: Kleinhüningen). After a few stops, get off at 'Schifflände'. From there, walk towards the Rhine River and cross the Mittlere Brücke (Middle Bridge). Once you reach Grossbasel, walk straight along Hauptstraße and then turn left onto St. Alban-Tal. The Basel Paper Mill will be on your left at number 37. Note that tram tickets cost around CHF 4 for a single journey.
