Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Kramgasse. Turn left onto Kramgasse and continue walking. This street leads you into the heart of Bern's Old Town. You will pass by various shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the Zytglogge (Clock Tower). From there, head down Kramgasse until you reach the Aare River. Take the stairs down to the riverside path and follow the river upstream. Look for signs towards Grosser Muristalden. At the end of the path, you will find a staircase leading up to the Bern Old Town View Point.

• Public Transport

  From Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), you can take tram number 9 towards Gümligen. Get off at the stop called 'Zytglogge'. From there, walk down Kramgasse, which leads you into the Old Town. After passing the Clock Tower, continue walking to the Aare River. Once at the river, follow the riverside path upstream. Look for signs towards Grosser Muristalden. You will find a staircase that leads up to the Bern Old Town View Point.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Bern. Start from the Bern Main Train Station and head towards the Aare River. Follow the path along the river upstream. Look for signs directing you to Grosser Muristalden. Once you arrive at the base of the hill, park your bike and take the staircase that leads up to the Bern Old Town View Point.
