Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the central train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main road, Bahnhofplatz. From there, walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Kramgasse. Turn right onto Kramgasse, and continue walking until you see the Zytglogge clock tower. Once you reach the Zytglogge, continue straight along Kramgasse, which will turn into Rathausgasse. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Münsterplattform. At this point, turn left onto Münsterplattform and walk straight until you see the beautiful Bern Cathedral on your right. Just beyond the cathedral, you will see a small square (Läuferplatz) where the Läuferbrunnen fountain is located. Look for the fountain in the square; it is a notable landmark and hard to miss.

Tram
From the Bern main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 9 in the direction of Guisanplatz Expo. Alight at the stop called 'Schützenmattstrasse' (about a 5-minute ride). After getting off the tram, walk straight along Schützenmattstrasse until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Neuengasse and continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Kramgasse. Turn left onto Kramgasse and walk until you reach Zytglogge clock tower. From there, continue along Kramgasse which turns into Rathausgasse, and follow the instructions from the previous walking guidance to reach Läuferbrunnen.
