Walking
If you are starting from the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofplatz. Walk straight for about 500 meters, passing the Bundeshaus (Federal Palace) on your right. Continue along the street until you reach the Zytglogge (Clock Tower). Turn left onto Kramgasse and follow it until you reach the end at the Bundesplatz, where you will see the fountain. From there, head towards the Aare River by walking down the steps that lead to the riverbank. Once at the river, turn left and follow the river path for about 1 kilometer. You will see the Nydeggbrücke (Nydegg Bridge) ahead, which spans over the river. The bridge is located at coordinates 46.948507 latitude and 7.4585162 longitude.

From the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 9 heading towards Gümmenen. Get off at the 'Nydegg' stop, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead for about 200 meters, and you will see the Nydeggbrücke (Nydegg Bridge) ahead. The bridge offers beautiful views of the Aare River and the surrounding area.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle near the Bern Main Train Station. Head south on Bahnhofplatz and follow the signs towards the Aare River. Once at the river, turn left and follow the river path. The cycle route is picturesque and will lead you to the Nydeggbrücke (Nydegg Bridge) in about 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed. The bridge offers a great spot to take photographs of the cityscape.
