Getting There

  • Train

    From Bern, head to the Bern Main Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof). Purchase a ticket to Wilderswil. Trains to Wilderswil run frequently. Once you arrive at Wilderswil station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Aarestrasse). Walk straight along Aarestrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Rothenfluh. Turn left onto Rothenfluh and follow the signs towards the Rothenfluh ruins, which will be on your left after a short walk.

  • Bus

    From Bern, go to the Bern Main Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof) and find the bus terminal. Take the bus heading to Wilderswil. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Wilderswil, disembark and follow the main road (Aarestrasse) straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Rothenfluh. Turn left onto Rothenfluh and continue walking until you see the ruins.

  • Bicycle
