  • Car

    If you are driving from Central Switzerland, take the A4 highway towards Zürich. Merge onto the A1 towards Zürich. Continue on the A1 until you see signs for Zürich-City. Follow the signs for 'Zürich-City' and take the exit for 'Zürich Altstadt'. Once in the city, look for parking options; the nearest public parking is 'Q-Park', located at Sihlquai 1, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Town Hall. From the parking garage, head northeast on Sihlquai, then turn left on Limmatquai. Continue walking until you reach Limmatquai 55, where you will find Zürich's Town Hall.

    From any location in Central Switzerland, take a train to Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich HB), which is the main train station. Trains are frequent and usually take about 1 to 2 hours depending on your departure point. Once you arrive at Zürich HB, exit the station and walk towards the Limmat River. Head towards the riverfront, and follow the river south to Limmatquai. Continue walking along the river until you reach Limmatquai 55, where you will find the Town Hall.
