Getting There

  • Train

    Take the train from Davos Platz station towards Pontresina. Trains depart regularly, so check the schedule at the station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pontresina station, exit the station and head west on Via da la Staziun towards Via Chasa Biala. After about 100 meters, turn left onto Via Chasa Biala. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Morteratsch Glacier, which will be well signposted.

  • Bus

    From Davos, catch the PostBus number 6 from Davos Platz to Pontresina. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the Pontresina stop. After getting off, walk south on Via da la Staziun for about 150 meters, then turn left onto Via Chasa Biala. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at the Morteratsch Glacier, following the signs along the way.
