    If you're starting from the Geneva Cornavin train station, exit the station and head west on Rue de Lausanne. Continue straight until you reach the Parc des Bastions. Enter the park, which is located just a few blocks from the station. Walk through the park towards the lake, and you'll see the large fountain (Jet d'Eau) ahead. From there, take a right and walk along the lake promenade until you reach the Île Rousseau, which is a small island accessible by a footbridge.
