Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the central train station (Gare Cornavin), exit the station and head towards the Rue des Alpes. Walk straight until you reach the Rhône river, then turn right and walk along the riverbank. Continue walking until you see the Pont des Bergues bridge. Cross the bridge, and after crossing, you will see Île Rousseau on your left. It is a small island located in the Rhône river, just a short walk from the bridge.

Tram
From the central train station (Gare Cornavin), take tram line 12 or 18 towards 'Nations' or 'Bachet-de-Pesay' respectively. Get off at the 'Jet d'Eau' stop. From there, walk towards the water, and you will see the famous Jet d'Eau fountain. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade, and you will eventually come to the Pont des Bergues bridge. Cross the bridge, and after crossing, you will find Île Rousseau on your left.

Take bus number 1, 3, or 5 from the central train station (Gare Cornavin) towards 'Rive' or 'Moulin' direction. Get off at the 'Rive' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the lake and head towards the Jet d'Eau fountain. Walk along the promenade until you reach the Pont des Bergues bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will see Île Rousseau right after you cross.
