Getting There

  • Train

    From the Geneva Cornavin train station, take the train to Évian-les-Bains. Trains run approximately every hour. Once you arrive at Évian-les-Bains, exit the train station and head towards Quai Charles Albert Besson. The Palais Lumière is located along the waterfront, approximately a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs towards the lake, and you will see Palais Lumière just ahead.

  • Boat

    You can also take a boat from Geneva to Évian-les-Bains. Head to the Geneve-Mont-Blanc pier, where you can catch a boat operated by CGN (Compagnie Générale de Navigation). The boat ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at the Évian-les-Bains boat pier, walk towards Quai Charles Albert Besson, which is just a few minutes away along the lakefront. The Palais Lumière will be directly in front of you.

  • Public Transport

    If you prefer to use public transport, take tram line 12 from any stop in the city to the 'Gare Cornavin' tram stop. From there, take bus line 223 towards 'Evian-les-Bains' from the bus stop just outside the station. The bus will take you directly to Évian-les-Bains. After getting off at the final stop, walk towards Quai Charles Albert Besson, which is about a 10-minute stroll along the lakeshore where the Palais Lumière is situated.
