Car
From Glarus, take the main road (A3) heading south towards Linthal. Continue on the A3 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the exit for Linthal/Urnerboden (exit 29). Follow signs for Linthal and drive through the village. After passing Linthal, follow the road signs to the Glarus Alps - Glärnisch. Park at the designated parking area near the start of the hiking trail. Note: Parking may incur a fee, usually around CHF 5-10 for the day.

From the Glarus train station, take the train towards Linthal. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Linthal, transfer to the PostBus heading to Urnerboden. The bus ride takes around 20 minutes. Get off at the stop marked 'Urnerboden'. From there, follow the signs to the Glärnisch hiking trail. The trailhead is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited.
