If you're driving, start from Chur, the capital of Graubünden. Take the A13 highway heading south towards Domat/Ems. After approximately 10 km, take exit 23-Domat/Ems. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Via Sursilvana. Continue straight for about 2 km, then turn left onto Via Rhein. Follow this road until you reach the parking area near the Zusammenfluss von Vorder- und Hinterrhein. There are no parking fees.

To reach the Zusammenfluss von Vorder- und Hinterrhein by public transport, take a train from Chur to Domat/Ems. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Domat/Ems train station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the Rhine. It’s a short 15-minute walk (about 1.5 km) along Via Rhein which will lead you directly to the confluence. Ensure to check the local train schedules for the latest timings.
