If you are in central Interlaken, start at the Interlaken Ost train station. Exit the station and head southwest on Höheweg street towards the Aare River. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the riverbank, then follow the river south for another 5 minutes. You will see signs pointing to the Japanischer Garten. Continue along the path until you arrive at Schlossstrasse, where the garden entrance is located at number 1.

From the Interlaken Ost train station, take bus number 21 towards 'Interlaken Harderbahn'. The bus ride will take approximately 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Schloss' bus stop. From there, walk northeast on Schlossstrasse for about 3 minutes until you reach the Japanischer Garten located at Schlossstrasse 1.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Interlaken. Start from the central area and ride towards Höheweg street. Then head to the Aare River and follow the river south. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes.
