Walking
If you are in Interlaken West, exit the train station and head southeast on Höheweg towards the main road. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Seestrasse. Turn left onto Seestrasse and walk for another 300 meters. You will see signs directing you to Matten bei Interlaken. Follow the signs which will lead you to the village center. The walk should take approximately 15 minutes.

From Interlaken Ost station, take the bus number 21 towards 'Matten bei Interlaken'. The bus stop is located just outside of the station. The journey will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Matten bei Interlaken' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the village center where you can explore.

Head to Interlaken West train station and board the regional train heading towards Lauterbrunnen. Get off at the ‘Matten bei Interlaken’ stop, which is just a few minutes away (approximately 3-5 minutes). As you exit the train, follow the signs towards the village center.
