Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Interlaken West train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Höheweg. Turn left and walk along this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Aare River. Here, you will see a bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Schlossstrasse. Follow this road for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Monastery and Interlaken Castle on your right at Schloss 1.

From the Interlaken West train station, you can take bus number 21 towards 'Interlaken, Schloss'. The bus stop is right outside the station. After a short ride of about 5 minutes, get off at the 'Interlaken, Schloss' stop. From there, walk towards the castle which is just a short distance away. You will see the Monastery and Interlaken Castle straight ahead at Schloss 1.
