Getting There

  • Train

    From Interlaken Ost train station, take the train towards Interlaken West. You will need to transfer at Interlaken West to a train heading towards Lauterbrunnen. Get off at the next station, which is 'Sundlauenen'. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you exit the train, proceed to follow the signs directing you to the St. Beatus-Höhlen. The caves are about a 20-minute walk from the station.

    From Interlaken Ost, take bus number 21 towards 'Sundlauenen'. The bus ride is approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Beatushöhlen' stop. Once you disembark, you will see signs that will guide you to the entrance of the St. Beatus-Höhlen, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you prefer to walk from Interlaken, start at the Interlaken Ost train station and follow the path along the Aare River towards the west, heading in the direction of the mountains.
