Getting There

  • Train

    From Interlaken Ost train station, take the train heading towards Lauterbrunnen. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Sundlauenen' stop. Once you exit the train station, walk towards the main road (Staatsstrasse) and head east for about 10 minutes until you reach St. Beatus-Höhlen.

  • Bus

    From the Interlaken Ost bus terminal, take bus number 21 towards 'Sundlauenen'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Sundlauenen' stop. After disembarking, walk a short distance to Staatsstrasse, then head east for about 5 minutes to arrive at St. Beatus-Höhlen.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Interlaken West area, you can also walk to St. Beatus-Höhlen. The walk will take approximately 1 hour. Head southeast on Höheweg towards the Aare River. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river until you reach the main road (Staatsstrasse). Turn left and continue for about 20 minutes until you reach the caves.
