Getting There

Walking
From the Interlaken Ost train station, exit onto Höheweg street. Head south towards the Interlaken West station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Continue straight on Höheweg until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Aare river promenade. Follow the river until you reach the main bridge (Hängebrücke). Cross the bridge and continue along the riverside path. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Schloss 9, where you will find Probstei.

From Interlaken Ost station, locate the bus stop near the station. Board the bus number 21 towards Wilderswil. Get off at the stop named 'Schloss'. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk. Head southeast on Schlossstrasse, and then turn right onto Schloss 9. Probstei will be on your left.

Travel from Interlaken Ost to Interlaken West by train, which takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at Interlaken West, exit the station and follow Höheweg street towards the east.
