Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Interlaken. Take the A8 motorway towards Lucerne. After about 15 km, take exit 36 towards Meiringen. Continue on the road and follow the signs to Innertkirchen. Once in Innertkirchen, you will find signs directing you to Stein Glacier. The parking area for Stein Glacier is located just before the hiking path begins, and you will need to walk a short distance to reach the glacier.

Public Transportation
To reach Stein Glacier using public transportation, start at Interlaken Ost train station. Take a train to Meiringen (approximately 30 minutes). Once you arrive in Meiringen, transfer to PostBus line 7 towards Innertkirchen. Get off at the Innertkirchen, Bahnhof stop. From there, follow the signs to the Stein Glacier hiking trail. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop to the glacier itself.
