Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Grindelwald, which is a well-known base in the Jungfrau Region. Drive towards the direction of Grindelwald-First, following the signs for Männlichen. You will find parking facilities in Grindelwald. From the parking area, head to the valley station of the Männlichen cable car located at the base of the mountain. The cable car ride to Männlichen will take about 30 minutes, and you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. Please note that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to Grindelwald from major Swiss cities like Zurich or Bern. Once you arrive at Grindelwald station, exit and walk to the valley station of the Männlichen cable car, which is about a 15-minute walk from the train station. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the train station to the cable car station. The cable car ride from the valley station to Männlichen takes approximately 30 minutes. Keep in mind that the round-trip cable car fare is approximately CHF 30 for adults, with discounts available for children and Swiss Travel Pass holders.
