Getting There

  • Car

    From Klosters, head east on the main road (Landstrasse) towards Davos. After about 10 minutes, follow the signs for Davos and merge onto the A28 motorway. Continue on the A28 for approximately 5 km until you reach the exit for Davos. Take the exit and follow the signs for Davos Zentrum. Once in Davos, follow Promenade road until you reach the Promenade 63, where the Talstation Schatzalpbahn (the valley station of the Schatzalp cable car) is located. Park your car in the nearby parking areas, which may incur a fee of around CHF 5-10 per day.

  • Public Transportation

    From Klosters, take the PostBus (Line 90) towards Davos. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Davos Platz' stop. From there, walk to the Talstation Schatzalpbahn located at Promenade 63. The walk is about 15 minutes and will take you through the scenic Davos area. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from 'Davos Platz' to the Schatzalpbahn station if you prefer not to walk. Note that the bus fare is approximately CHF 3-5.

    Once you arrive at the Talstation Schatzalpbahn, purchase a ticket for the cable car ride to Schatzalp. The ticket prices vary, but expect to pay around CHF 15-20 for a round trip.
