Walking
From the center of Locarno, head towards the Locarno train station. Walk straight on Via della Pace until you reach the train station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Como. Board the train to Como S. Giovanni, which takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Como S. Giovanni station, exit the station and head towards the lake. You will see signs directing you to Piazza Cavour. It's a short 10-minute walk along the lakefront, following the promenade towards the city center.
Public Transport
Start at Piazza Grande in Locarno. Take bus number 5 from the bus stop 'Piazza Grande' towards 'Muralto'. Get off at 'Muralto, Stazione'. After that, walk to the train station and purchase a ticket to Como. Board the train to Como S. Giovanni. Once you arrive at Como S. Giovanni, exit the station and follow the signs to Piazza Cavour, which is about a 10-minute walk along the waterfront.
