Train
From Lucerne, head to the Lucerne train station (Luzern Bahnhof). You can walk to the station from most central locations in Lucerne. Look for trains heading towards Beckenried. Trains to Beckenried typically depart from platform 2 or 3. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at Beckenried train station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG. The cable car station is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. You will walk along Kirchweg, passing by local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for directional signs leading to the cable car, which will be on your right.
