Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Lucerne train station (Bahnhof Luzern), exit the station and head towards the main road, Pilatusstrasse. Turn left onto Pilatusstrasse and walk straight for about 600 meters. Continue until you reach the Hirschenplatz square. Gänsemännchenbrunnen is located just to the right of Hirschenplatz at Hirschenpl. 10, a short stroll from the square.

Walking

From the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), walk towards the Old Town (Altstadt). Cross the bridge, and upon reaching the other side, head straight down Weinmarkt street. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Hirschenpl. The Gänsemännchenbrunnen is located at Hirschenpl. 10, right in the heart of the Old Town.

Public Transport

Take bus line 1 or 2 from any nearby bus stop to Hirschenplatz. Once you disembark at Hirschenplatz, walk a few steps towards Hirschenpl. 10. The Gänsemännchenbrunnen is easily visible and is only a short distance from the bus stop.

Walking

If you are at the Lion Monument (Löwendenkmal), head back towards the lake and take a left along the lakeshore promenade. Walk towards the Chapel Bridge and then follow the previous walking directions from the Chapel Bridge to Gänsemännchenbrunnen.
