Walking
If you are starting from Lucerne's main train station (Bahnhof Luzern), exit the station and head towards the lake (Vierwaldstättersee). Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade. Continue walking until you see the bridge called 'Reusssteg'. Cross the bridge, and you will find the Lucerne Needle Dam (Reusswehr) right after the bridge on your left side.
Public Transport - Bus
From the main train station (Bahnhof Luzern), take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Kriens, Zentrum'. Get off at the stop 'Perronplatz'. From there, walk straight towards the lake and you will find the Reusssteg bridge. Cross the bridge, and the Lucerne Needle Dam will be on your left after crossing.
Public Transport - Boat
From the main train station (Bahnhof Luzern), walk to the boat dock located just outside the station. Take a boat heading towards 'Vitznau' or 'Brunnen'. Get off at the 'Weidli' stop. From the dock, walk straight towards the shore and follow the path to the Reusssteg bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will see the Lucerne Needle Dam on your left.
