  • Walking

    If you are starting from Lucerne's main train station (Bahnhof Luzern), exit the station and head straight towards the lake (Vierwaldstättersee). As you approach the waterfront, turn left to follow the lake promenade. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the bridge called Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge). Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, turn right onto Weinmarkt street. Follow this street until you reach the end and turn left onto Grendelstrasse. Continue straight, and you will see the Lion Monument at the end of the street on your right.

    If you are near the Old Town (Altstadt) of Lucerne, make your way towards the Weinmarkt square. From there, exit the square onto Furrengasse and continue straight until you reach the junction with Grendelstrasse. Turn left onto Grendelstrasse and walk straight for about 5-7 minutes. The Lion Monument will be visible at the end of the road on the right side.
