From Lugano city center, head to the bus station located at Piazza della Riforma. Take bus line 1 towards 'Lecco'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Galbiate' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Via Bertarelli, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow Via Bertarelli straight until you reach the Giardini storici di Villa Bertarelli on your left.

Train and Bus
Start at Lugano train station and take a train to 'Lecco'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lecco station, exit and find the bus terminal nearby. Take bus line 4 towards 'Galbiate'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Galbiate' stop. Walk along Via Bertarelli for about 15 minutes to reach Giardini storici di Villa Bertarelli.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk, start from the center of Lugano and head towards the lakeside promenade. Follow the path along the lake until you reach the main road (Via Nassa) and continue towards the train station. From there, follow the directions to the bus station or train station, and then proceed as described in the previous options.
