Getting There

Bus
From Lugano, head to the main bus terminal (Lugano Stazione). Look for the bus lines heading towards Porlezza. You can take bus line 2 towards 'Porlezza'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Porlezza stop, you will be very close to Lungolago. Exit the bus and walk towards the lakefront (Lungolago) by following the signs for 'Lago di Lugano'.

Train and Bus
Start at Lugano train station. Take a train to Ponte Tresa, which is about a 10-minute ride. At Ponte Tresa station, switch to bus line 2 that goes to 'Porlezza'. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you get off at the Porlezza stop, follow the signs directing you to Lungolago, which is a short walk towards the lake.

If you are staying in central Lugano, you can take a scenic walk along the lakeside promenade towards the north. The walk can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Head along Via Nassa, then follow the lakeside path which will take you through beautiful views towards Porlezza. Keep walking until you reach Lungolago, where you will find stunning views of the lake.
