Walking
Start at the Lugano train station (Stazione di Lugano). Exit the station and head towards the main street, Via Nassa. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Cattedrale. Turn right onto Via Cattedrale and walk uphill towards the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. Once you reach the Cathedral, continue up the steps to the left of the Cathedral, which will lead you to the Parco Ciani. Walk through the park, enjoying the beautiful scenery. After exiting the park, head towards Via Pessina and follow the signs for 'Panoramic Viewpoint'. The viewpoint is located on a hill, so be prepared for some steep paths.
