Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the main train station, Lugano Stazione, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via C. M. Riva). Turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the beautiful lakeside promenade. Continue walking along the promenade until you see the signs for Parco Ciani. It is located just a few minutes from the lakeside, on the left side. Follow the path that leads into the park.

Bus
From the main train station, take bus number 2 or 4 towards 'Piazza Indipendenza'. You can catch the bus directly outside the station. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the 'Lugano, Parco Ciani' stop. After disembarking, head towards the park entrance which is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to Parco Ciani.

Funicular
If you are near the city center, you can take the funicular from the 'Piazza della Riforma' area. Board the funicular to 'Monte Brè'. After a short ride, get off at the top station and enjoy the scenic view. From there, it’s a pleasant downhill walk back towards Parco Ciani, following the signs towards the lakefront and the park entrance.
