From the city center of Lugano, start at Piazza della Riforma. Head east on Via N. P. Cattaneo, and continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade at Lungolago. Turn left and walk along the beautiful lakefront path for about 1 km until you reach the fork in the path. At this point, take the path leading up towards Gandria. Continue on this scenic route for approximately 1.5 km. You will see signs for 'Sentiero dell'olivo'. Follow the signs until you reach Sentiero di Gandria 2, which is at the end of the trail.
