Getting There

  • Train

    If you are starting from Montreux railway station, exit the station and head towards the lakefront. Walk straight along the lakeside promenade (Quai des Fleurs) for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass by beautiful gardens and get a lovely view of Lake Geneva. The Alimentarium is located at Quai Perdonnet 25, Vevey, right by the lake. It should take you around 20-25 minutes to reach your destination.

    From Montreux, take the bus line 201 towards Vevey. Board the bus at the Montreux train station bus stop. The journey to Vevey takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Vevey, Quai Perdonnet' stop. The Alimentarium is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at Quai Perdonnet 25, right by the lake.

  • Walking

    If you're already in the town center of Montreux, head towards the lakeside. Walk along the promenade (Quai des Fleurs) heading towards Vevey. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Vevey. The Alimentarium is situated at Quai Perdonnet 25, right next to the lake. Enjoy the scenic walk, which should take around 25-30 minutes.

    If you have rented a bicycle, head towards the lakeside from Montreux and take the cycling path along the lake towards Vevey. The path is well-marked and safe for cyclists.
