Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Montreux train station, exit the station and head north towards Avenue des Alpes. Follow this road along the lakefront, enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Geneva. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Rue du Théâtre. Turn left onto Rue du Théâtre and continue straight until you reach Rue de la Gare. Here, take a right and then an immediate left onto Chemin de la Rouvenaz. Follow this path as it begins to ascend, leading you towards the direction of Cour du château du châtelard. You will notice signs indicating the way to the site. The walk should take around 30 minutes.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From Montreux train station, you can take the bus number 201 towards Glion. Board the bus at the Montreux Gare stop, which is right outside the train station. Stay on the bus for 3 stops and get off at the Châtelard stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes uphill. Follow the signs that direct you towards Cour du château du châtelard. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes, and then the walk will provide you with scenic views as you approach your destination.

• Walking from Montreux City Center

  If you are in the city center, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of the east until you reach Avenue des Alpes. From there, follow the same route as described from the train station, turning left onto Rue du Théâtre, continuing on Rue de la Gare, and then onto Chemin de la Rouvenaz. Be sure to take in the beautiful sights along the way. This route should take about 30-35 minutes.
