Walking
If you are starting from Montreux's train station, head out of the station and walk towards Avenue des Alpes. Turn right onto Avenue des Alpes and continue walking along the lakeside promenade. You will pass several shops and cafes. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see a large sign for the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace Hotel on your left. Continue past the hotel, and keep walking along the lakeside path. The Ella Fitzgerald Statue is located at Av. Claude-Nobs 2, just in front of the hotel. It should take you around 15-20 minutes from the train station.

From Montreux train station, you can take bus number 201 or 204 towards 'Les Avants'. Board the bus at the station's bus stop, and get off at the 'Montreux, Fairmont' stop.
