Car
From Nendaz, take Route de Nendaz towards Sion. Follow the signs for Sion, which will lead you onto the A9 motorway. Continue on the A9 for approximately 20 kilometers. Take exit 27-Sion-Ouest toward Sion-Centre. Merge onto Avenue de la Gare and follow it through Sion. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto Rue des Châteaux. The Basilique de Valère will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but it may require a small fee.
Public Transportation
From the center of Nendaz, take the PostBus (Line 181) towards Sion. The journey lasts about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sion, Gare' stop. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a local bus (Line 1) towards 'Sion, Châteaux'. This local bus will take you to 'Sion, Châteaux' stop, which is a short walk to the Basilique de Valère. Please check the PostBus schedule for the most accurate departure times.
