From the center of Saas-Fee, head towards the Saas-Fee Post Office. Follow the signs pointing towards Saas-Almagell. The walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes. It’s a scenic route with beautiful views of the mountains. You will be following the main path that leads out of the village.
Public Transportation
Take the PostBus from Saas-Fee to Saas-Almagell. The bus stop is located near the Saas-Fee Post Office. Buses run frequently, but it’s advisable to check the schedule at the bus stop or online. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes. A single ticket costs approximately CHF 5-10, depending on the season and time of day.
Driving
If you are driving, you can take the road from Saas-Fee to Saas-Almagell. Note that in Saas-Fee, cars are not allowed in the village center, so you will need to park at one of the designated parking areas and walk to the bus station to catch a bus to Saas-Almagell or walk there (about a 30-minute walk).
