Car
If you are driving, park your car at one of the parking facilities at the entrance of Saas-Fee, as the village is car-free. From the parking area, walk to the Alpin Express cable car station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Take the Alpin Express to the top station at Mittelallalin. From there, follow the signs towards Spielboden. It is a scenic hike that takes approximately 30 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a train to Visp station and then transfer to the PostBus heading to Saas-Fee. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Saas-Fee, walk towards the Alpin Express cable car station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Take the Alpin Express to the top station at Mittelallalin. From there, follow the signs towards Spielboden, which is about a 30-minute hike.
Cable Car
After arriving at Saas-Fee by car or public transport, you will need to take the Alpin Express cable car to reach the Marmottes Spielboden. The cable car ticket costs approximately CHF 22 for a one-way trip. Once you reach the top station at Mittelallalin, follow the marked trails towards Spielboden, which will take you roughly 30 minutes on foot.
