If you are driving from central Schaffhausen, head southeast on Bahnhofstrasse toward Grosse Bleiche. Continue straight to stay on Bahnhofstrasse, which will become Rietstrasse. Take the ramp onto A4. After approximately 5 km, take exit 9-Stetten toward Stetten/Herblingen. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Stetten, and continue onto Stettenerstrasse. After about 1 km, turn right onto Herblingerstrasse. Continue straight until you reach Herblingen Castle, which will be on your left.

To reach Herblingen Castle via public transportation, start at Schaffhausen Bahnhof (train station). Take bus line 6 towards 'Stetten, Grotte' or 'Stetten, Wald.' The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Stetten, Grotte' stop. From there, walk along Stettenerstrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach Herblingen Castle. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for times, as they may vary.

Once you get off the bus at 'Stetten, Grotte,' head northeast on Stettenerstrasse. Continue walking straight for about 800 meters. You will pass local shops and residences. As you approach Herblingen Castle, you will see signs indicating its location. The castle will be on your left-hand side, nestled in a scenic area.
