Follow signs for A5 toward Biel/Bienne. Take the exit toward Zullwil, and merge onto Schlossweg. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach Ruine Gilgenberg located at Schlossweg 198, 4234 Zullwil. There is parking available near the ruins.

    To reach Ruine Gilgenberg using public transportation, start at Solothurn train station. Take bus number 11 toward Zullwil. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Zullwil, Schmitt' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Ruine Gilgenberg. Head northeast on Schlossweg, and follow it for around 1.2 kilometers until you reach the ruins at Schlossweg 198.

    If you prefer to walk from the bus stop 'Zullwil, Schmitt', exit the bus and head northeast on Schlossweg. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes.
