Car
From the center of St. Gallen, head southeast on Bahnhofstrasse toward Vadianstrasse. Continue onto St. Leonhard-Strasse and follow the signs for A1 toward Zürich. After about 5 km, take exit 81-St. Gallen-Winkeln toward Rorschacherstrasse. Continue on Rorschacherstrasse (Route 13) for about 4 km. Turn left onto Galgentobelstrasse, and follow it until you reach the hiking area of Galgentobel. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
Start at St. Gallen main train station (Bahnhof St. Gallen). Take bus line 5 (direction: St. Gallen, Rorschacherstrasse) from the bus terminal just outside the station. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop 'St. Gallen, Galgentobel'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the hiking area. Please note that a single bus ticket costs around CHF 2.80, and you can purchase tickets at vending machines located at the bus terminal.
