Car
If you are driving, start from the center of St. Gallen. Navigate to Sitterstrasse and follow it northeast. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Schiltackerweg. Look for parking options along the road or nearby lots. The Sittersteg Denkmal is located directly along Schiltackerweg, so you can park your car and walk to the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Sittersteg Denkmal via public transportation, start at the St. Gallen main train station (Bahnhof St. Gallen). Take the bus line 5 from the station towards Gossau (via St. Gallen). Get off at the 'Sitterbrücke' stop. From there, walk northeast along Schiltackerweg for about 10 minutes. The Sittersteg Denkmal will be on your left. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the latest timings.
Walking
If you are already in the city center, you can also walk to Sittersteg Denkmal. Head northeast on Bahnhofstrasse until you reach Sitterstrasse. Turn left onto Sitterstrasse and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Schiltackerweg. Walk along Schiltackerweg for about 15-20 minutes, and you will find the Sittersteg Denkmal on your left. This is a nice way to enjoy the local scenery.
